- Formulate and provide education curricula that enable students to engage in independent study while continuously evaluating and verifying themselves with a view to achieving goals they have set for themselves.
- Engage in ethical education as specialized professionals and foster approaches that respect social norms and rules throughout all education curricula.
- Provide universal education capable of fostering wide-ranging in-depth accomplishment, comprehensive judgment, well-rounded character and a keen interest in learning, and enhance specialized introductory education and provide educational opportunities that enable students to understand the meaning of acquiring a field of specialization of their own as a foundation for that.
- Provide universal education subjects pertaining to various cultures and values, societies, nature and the environment, as well as issues confronting mankind and society in Japan and overseas.

- Provide practical training opportunities that enable students to make independent use of knowledge, logical thought and means of expression they have acquired in their fields of specialization.
