The Faculty of Horticulture, which is located on top of a scenic hill in Matsudo City, has major academic and international contributions in horticulture and landscape science since it was first founded in 1909. It is the only faculty known by the name of horticulture among all Japanese national universities.
Specialized academic staff endeavors to train students who can contribute to the successful management of natural resources as well as the administration and the marketing of related industries.
And our academic staff and students together work with issues on environmental protection and the creation of sound living environments.
