Top Global University Project
In fiscal 2014, Chiba University was selected for the Top Global University Project of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) as a Type B (Leading Global) university.
Through this project, MEXT provides support to outstanding universities engaging in educational research at an international level that are promoting internationalization through sweeping university reforms. This project has a view to improving Japan's competitiveness among higher education and global universities, and playing a leading role in the internationalization of universities in Japan.
