Chiba University was ranked No. 1 in national universities in the number of undergraduate applicants for the sixth consecutive year!
Chiba University received the highest number of applicants for the 2021 entrance examination in all national universities in Japan. We have achieved the feat for six consecutive years (see the table below). Under the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been providing our future applicants with online school orientations, campus tour movies, and other online services to introduce the strength and attractiveness of Chiba University.
Chiba University has been strongly promoting globalization in education and implementing the ENGINE plan, which requires all students to study abroad. I think many of those, who aspire to play active roles in the international community in the future, are taking our entrance exams. Please keep an eye on our globalization in education.
