Chiba University is committed to providing an environment in which all students and staff are respected as individuals, and are able to study, conduct research and work with equal opportunities and peace of mind.
The university endeavors to prevent harassment from occurring. If harassment does occur, the university makes every effort to protect and provide relief to victims, remediate the situation, and ensure an environment that facilitates study and research.

Consultation services are also available.

On campus consultation

Students enrolled at the University can consult with the Counseling Room about any problems related to student life, including study, employment, daily life, and human relations.
There is also a mental health counseling service available.
